A Fresh Start - Climate and Culture
To start the school year right, it is important to promote positive climate and culture from the start. Our district did just that at the start of our first professional development day of the year. We began the school year with a staff lead pep rally! The teachers and staff including, administration, secretarial, custodial, maintenance, cafeteria, and teaching staff all joined together for a pep rally to usher in the 2016-2017 school year. Talk about team building, each school worked together to perform a small skit to introduce and represent their school. The principals and teachers all joined the fun. The overall message, that we are on the journey together to educate our students, was easy to decipher.
