On Monday, November 4th, the newest members of Egg Harbor Township High School's Future Business Leaders of America were inducted at a wonderful dinner ceremony held at Harbor Pines Golf Club. Student officers and new advisers Ms. Zisa and Mr. Migliore did a wonderful job preparing the students to lead the ceremonies. Returning adviser, Mrs. Kim DeMaggio was in attendance for the event as well.

10/1/19 Automotive Technology Students Receive Lowes Donation
The Automotive Technology program recently received a donation from Lowes Home Improvement in EHT. Pictured is Lowes Pro Services Representative Mr Jesse Johnson, along with two of Mr. Sauter's Auto Technology III students to accept the donation of 164 AAA batteries to be used in the CTE programs at EHTHS. Mr. Johnson and Lowes Home Improvement continue to support our locally-offered CTE programs and are advocates of secondary CTE educational programs for nationwide. Mr. Sauter graciously appreciates this donation which can used for tools and equipment in many of our CTE programs.
9/24/19 Education and Training students learn more about the seal of biliteracy
Dr. Schreiner spoke to students in Education & Training classes this week about the plethora of jobs available for bilingual educators. She explained the Seal of Biliteracy program that the High School offers and encouraged the students to continue studying a language all through high school so they can graduate with the Seal of Biliteracy and increase their opportunities for finding a job in education

The Egg Harbor Township Middle Schools will roll out a financial literacy curriculum to all 6th, 7th , and 8th grade students DURING the 2019-20 school year.
7/25/19 Middle School Students Blast Off during a Two Week Summer Aviation Program
Twenty-eight Egg Harbor Township Middle School students spent two weeks getting in-depth knowledge and some hands-on experience in the field of aviation. With the assistance of many partners including the Civil Air Patrol, the National Aviation Education Council, FAA's AvSTEM outreach program, Atlantic Cape Community College, and the 177th Fighter Wing, the students were able to get a feel for some of the careers in the field of aviation as well as the skills that are needed to be successful in each of the fields.
7/3/19 FCCLA Earn Silver Award at National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California
Egg Harbor Township High School was a part of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America’s (FCCLA) largest National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California June 30-July 4. Samantha Donnelly and Hayley Duncan from Egg Harbor Township High School participated in one of 40 Family and Consumer Sciences related competitive events offered at NLC, including STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events and the FCCLA/LifeSmarts Knowledge Bowl. These events support foundational, leadership, and workplace skills in areas such as advocacy, culinary arts, and entrepreneurship. Their event, Focus on Children, helped develop a new awareness of healthy food choices for the students in our ABC Preschool. Competing with over 5,000 STAR event participants, Samantha and Hayley were awarded a silver medal for their project.
7/23/19 EHT High School STEAM Teacher Participates in Fulbright STEAM Guitar Workshop
Egg Harbor Township High School STEAM Teacher, Joshua Handshaw spent five days in the summer in New York Learning about STEAM principles, design, and music concepts to build a guitar from start to finish through the Fulbright STEM Guitar Project. His students in 2nd and 3rd level classes will be exposed to the project this school year. The grant was applied for and received to purchase kits for students in the Egg Harbor Township High School.

7/3/19 FBLA Students Score Big at National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas
The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference was held June 28–July 2 in San Antonio. Participants from across the United States and abroad attended this exciting conference to enhance their business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 70 business and business-related competitive events.
Egg Harbor Township High School made history this year by reaching a record high number of projects that qualified for finals. An even greater level of excitement was reached when every single finalist from EHTHS were in the top 10 and placed on the Nationals stage.
Specifically, two groups made Egg Harbor Twp. HS history when Malini Gulati and Mohini Gulati became National Champions with their project being awarded first place, and Shivani Acharya, Nicholas Pennock, and Selena Zheng’s project placing second. This is the first time anybody from EHTHS has placed that high!
